It is designed so that a single XML file can be used by a wide range of music software applications. MusicXML is a universal interchange and distribution format for common Western music notation. The development and history of MusicXML is described in this chapter. I changed the extension to "it came to pass.xml" and then opened through Sibelius Original file exported from Finale:"it came to pass.musicxml" would not open I want to let y'all know that after closing Sibelius down and restarting, the file did finally load. We do have Sibelius Ultimate for the church (my mistake calling it out earlier) ![]() I have a 12-year old laptop that only runs Sibelius on Windows 7.
